Meet Saara – Founder & Heart Behind the Journey
Hi, I’m Saara – the founder and soul of this travel experience. Originally from Finland and living in Dubai since 2015, I’ve spent over a decade immersed in the world of travel, starting long before my move here. My mission is simple: to share the Finland I know and love with you.
This business is built on passion, care, and a deep connection to my roots. I believe every trip should be personal, high-quality, and truly memorable – and we are here to deliver just that.
Together with my husband – my sidekick in the background – we’re like your Finnish friends abroad who can’t stop sharing tips about their home country… except we go one step further and actually design and deliver the trip for you.
It’s genuinely impossible for me to offer anything I haven’t poured my heart into. Every detail matters, and I treat each journey like it’s my own.

The story of Travelling with Polaris began in 2021 with a simple but powerful idea: to bring together everything I’d learned through my studies and years of experience in the travel industry, and put it to good use.

I wanted to create something meaningful – a service built around high-quality, personal travel planning where the customer is truly at the heart of it all. Over the years, I’ve often heard the same phrase when meeting people abroad: “Oh, you’re from Finland? I’ve always wanted to go!” That quiet curiosity inspired me to proudly showcase my home country in the most authentic way possible.
